1.Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply whenever you use Cligo, whether you're a patient, a clinic, or a member of a clinic's staff. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Cligo.
2.Not for emergencies
Cligo is not an emergency service. If you think you or someone else is having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department. Queue positions and wait times are estimates and may change.
3.What Cligo does and doesn't do
Cligo is a technology platform. We connect patients with independent clinics and give clinics tools to manage appointments, queues, video visits and records.
Cligo does not provide medical care or advice. Diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions and referrals come from the clinic and its healthcare professionals, who are responsible for them. We check basic details when a clinic joins, but we don't guarantee the quality of any clinic's care or that a clinic or doctor will be available.
4.Your account
- You must be at least 18, or use Cligo through a parent or guardian.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date, especially details your clinic relies on, like allergies and medications.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account; tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
- One person per account. To arrange care for your children or parents, add them as family profiles rather than creating accounts in their name.
5.Family profiles
- Add only your own children, or a parent who has agreed to you managing their care.
- You're responsible for the bookings you make for them and for keeping their details, like allergies, accurate.
- Cancel visits you can't attend for them, as you would your own; the clinic's cancellation rules apply.
- A family member can take over their profile at any time. Once they have, you no longer have access to it. If you close your account, hand over or remove your family profiles first.
6.Appointments, queues and video visits
Bookings and walk-in tickets are with the clinic, not with Cligo. Each clinic sets its own hours, services, fees and cancellation rules. Please cancel through Cligo if you can't make it, so the slot can go to someone else.
For video visits you need a working camera, microphone and internet connection, and a private place to talk. Your clinic may decide that an in-person visit is needed instead.
Any payment for care is between you and the clinic, unless we tell you otherwise.
7.Additional terms for clinics
If you list a clinic or work as clinic staff on Cligo, you also agree that:
- you are authorised to act for the clinic, and the clinic and its professionals hold the licences their work requires;
- the clinic's listing (hours, services, doctors and credentials) is accurate and kept current;
- the clinic is responsible for the care it provides and for the clinical records it creates;
- staff access patient information only when they need it for that patient's care or the clinic's operations, and according to their role;
- the clinic complies with the health-privacy and record-keeping laws that apply to it.
New clinics stay pending until we review them, and we may decline or suspend a listing.
8.Acceptable use
Don't:
- book appointments or join queues you don't intend to use, or hold slots on others' behalf without consent;
- upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that you don't have the right to share, including malware;
- harass clinic staff, patients or anyone else;
- try to access accounts or information that aren't yours, or test, probe or disrupt our systems;
- scrape, copy or resell the service or its data, except as the law allows.
9.Your content
You keep ownership of the documents and information you add. You give Cligo permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service for you and the clinics you choose. Everything else in Cligo, including its software, design and brand, belongs to us or our licensors.
10.Suspending or closing accounts
You can stop using Cligo at any time and ask us to close your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account, or remove a clinic, if these terms are broken, if the law requires it, or to protect patients or the platform. Clinical records may be kept after closure where the law requires it, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11.Availability and changes
We work to keep Cligo available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Information shown about clinics, such as opening hours and wait times, comes from the clinics and may be out of date. We may change, add or remove features over time.
12.Disclaimers and limits of liability
Cligo is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts, advice or care of any clinic or healthcare professional.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Cligo after that, the new terms apply.
